Deposits & Cancellations

From April 2026, all facial treatments at Skyn & Glo will require a 25% non-refundable deposit when booking to secure your appointment. This will be taken off your treatment on the day.
Please note: The same deposit policy applies for all treatments booked in December in preparation for the busy festive season.

I understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen, which can result in cancelling appointments. However, I have worked hard to build my small business and my policy is in place to protect both myself and my business. My policy is only in place to cover last minute appointment cancellations as 99% of the time the appointment slot doesn't get filled due to the short notice period
If you need to cancel your appointment, I simply ask that you give as much notice as possible Respectfully, no later than 48 hours before the appointment.

* Cancellation 24 hours before appointment - You will be charged 
50% of the treatment price. With a 25% deposit taken if you wish to reschedule.

* Cancellation 12 hours before appointment or same day - You will be charged 100% of the treatment price. With a 25% deposit taken if you wish to reschedule.

Failure to do this will result in no further bookings at Skyn & Glo.

Late Arrivals

I ask that you arrive on time to your appointment. Anything later than 15 minutes might mean your appointment will need to be rescheduled or treatment altered to prevent running over into the next clients appointment.

No Shows

You will be required to pay 100% of the booked treatment price and 25% deposit towards all future bookings.

Mobile Phones & Personal Belongings

I politely ask that once the treatment has begun, you refrain from using your phone or touch personal possessions. This is to allow me to carry out your treatment to the highest standard and create a relaxing experience for you.

Gift Cards

Thank you for choosing Skyn & Glo. Our gift cards are a thoughtful way to share our treatments with someone you care about.
Please review the following terms and conditions:

1. Purchase & Redemption
• Gift cards can be purchased in specified monetary amounts or for selected treatments.
• Gift cards may be redeemed against any available service or product unless otherwise stated.
• Gift cards must be presented at the time of redemption.

2. Validity
• All gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
• Expired gift cards cannot be redeemed or extended.

3. Non-Refundable but transferable!
• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, in part or full.
• Gift cards are transferable and may be used by someone other than the original recipient.

4. Partial Use
• If the full value of the gift card is not used in one visit, the remaining balance can be used for future purchases within the validity period.
• No cash change will be given.

5. Booking & Cancellations
• Appointments booked using a gift card are subject to our standard booking and cancellation policy.
• Failure to attend or late cancellations may result in the gift card value being reduced or forfeited.

6. Lost or Stolen Cards
• Skyn & Glo is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
• Replacements may be issued at our discretion with valid proof of purchase.

By purchasing or using a Skyn & Glo gift card, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Payments

Card (Apple Pay), bank transfer and cash payments are accepted.

Patch Testing

Patch Tests are required at least 48 hours before any tinting services. A Patch Test must be repeated if you have not had the treatment within 8 weeks to ensure there is no reaction or changes within product ingredients.

Privacy & Personal Data

At Skyn & Glo, your privacy and personal data are handled in line with GDPR regulations and are stored securely at all times. Any information you provide, including consultation forms and booking details, is collected solely to ensure a safe, professional, and personalised treatment experience and is processed through a secure booking system.
