FAQ:
“What does a Chemical Peel do? They sound painful and I don’t want my skin to shed.”
Simply, a Chemical Peel is de-bonder which breaks down the ‘glue’ that holds the build up of dead skin cells together. This exfoliating facial reveals a lighter, brighter, radiant complexion. You will feel a tingling sensation throughout which most clients describe as ‘satisfying’ once experienced. No clients should be in ‘pain’ throughout this treatment and it is effective even after 1 minute.
The Epionce Lite Refresh Peel is a combination of salicylic acid (5%) and malic acid (30%) taking your skin to a highly acidic PH of 2.7 (it is normal for your skin to look a flushed red).
The peel can be applied in layers throughout regular appointments, as your skin becomes stronger (5 – 10 – 15 minutes).
It is crucial that aftercare must be followed to achieve the best results and to prevent compromising your skin barrier.
Blemishes will dry and flake but your skin will not shed with the Lite Refresh Peel. This is the perfect entry point for clients who are new to skin peels.
